Bahaginan Updates Partnership with The Asia Foundation The Asia Foundation (TAF) has partnered with VSO Bahaginan to provide technical support in volunteer programme development and volunteer management to their partner organizations in the Anti-Trafficking in Persons (TIP) Project. The TIP Project aims to prevent trafficking of Filipino women, children and men and protect victims within and across borders. The ten-month TAF-Bahaginan partnership will provide training for 10 organizations from the government and non-government sectors on volunteer programme development and volunteer management. The two-part ten-day course will be held in October and November 2007. Post-training support through KaBAHAGI Fellows will also be provided. This partnership comes after the 2005 collaboration between the two organizations to train patient groups on volunteer management. |
