One of the ways VSO Bahaginan works is by sending experienced professionals to volunteer in some of the poorest communities in Africa and Asia. Volunteers work and live with the local people and help them to help themselves. Instead of sending food, clothing or money, we instead send skilled women and men who want the chance to make a difference in the fight against poverty as well as to contribute to positive change.
VSO Bahaginan volunteers can benefit from your help. Volunteers need to be mentally, physically and emotionally prepared for their work. Your donation will help us to recruit and train volunteers, and prepare them for the challenges ahead.
Your donation will help to support our national and international development programs. These cover areas such as peace-building, sustainable livelihood and community development.
Kabahagi Ako
Whether you make a monthly contribution or a single donation, you will automatically become a member of Kabahagi Ako. This is a global network of supporters committed to helping others tackle the causes of global poverty and disadvantage and contribute to positive change.
If you make a donation of PHP 1,000 or more, you will receive a limited edition Kabahagi Ako polo shirt– a testimony that you are a part of a movement against global poverty and disadvantage. For all other donations, you will receive a Kabahagi Ako token.
