Responsible to: Manager, Finance and Administration
Purpose: To ensure effective and efficient financial support to the operations of VSO Bahaginan
I.Financial transactions and payments (Cashiering Functions)
II .Accounts (Bookkeeping Functions)
1. Accurately record and process all financial transactions using a computer based accounting package (MS Dynamics) including:
2. Ensure effective and efficient filing system of all financial transactions and records
3. Ensure accurate reconciliation of all bank accounts and employee and volunteer advance accounts.
4. Ensure timely submission of reportorial requirements to UK Accounts
5. Reconcile subsidiary ledgers for equipments and fixtures
6. Prepare for Month –end audit
III. Payroll
IV. To perform any other reasonable duties related to Finance, Admin and Support Services work as directed by the Finance and Admin Manager

A . Accounting: At least five years experience in keeping accounts using a computerized accounting system, knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Financial monitoring/reporting, maintaining financial controls, monitoring cash-flow,, preparing for audits, handling financial transactions such as petty cash, cheque and bank payments, payroll. |

B. Tax, social security, and legal provisions: At least two years’ experience of calculating and making tax and social security payments in compliance with Philippine tax and labor legislation. |

C. Administrative and Clerical Procedures: Knowledge of Administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as managing of files and records |
